Louisville Stoneware is one of the United States’ oldest producers of handmade and hand-painted functional art products. This historic company proudly traces its roots to the English settlers, and continues to use many of their 19th century art and production processes.

Care for Stoneware: Sudden changes in temperature can affect your stoneware.

Oven: For oven use – we encourage you to pre-heat the ware. Do not place stoneware into preheated oven. This stoneware is not suitable for use on the stovetop, grill or in the broiler.

Microwave: For use in the microwave – please ensure your ware is at room temperature prior to micro-waving.

Dishwasher: This stoneware is dishwasher safe. We recommend using low temperature settings, and liquid detergents to ensure the continued quality of the ware.

Preserving Finish: If  Scratches  become visible, with repeated stacking, especially on color glazes just use a damp cloth and Bar Tender’s Friend polish. Dip the damp cloth into the Bar Tender’s Friend Polish and simply  rub out the use marks on the Stoneware.
